screen ACTING FOUNDATIONS for the PERFORMING ARTIST

Expression of Interest

July 2026 Intake

A six-week screen acting foundation course for theatre performers, creatives, dancers, and singers wanting to step into screen acting with greater confidence and skill.

Created for people already working or training in the creative industries who want to:

  • begin auditioning for screen acting roles

  • feel more confident in self-tapes and auditions

  • build experience working with a director

  • strengthen their range and on-screen performance ability

  • pursue agency representation

  • train in a welcoming, grounded, and non-judgemental environment

I see a lot of dancers who can act and sing, singers who can act and dance, and actors who can sing and dance.

But there’s a difference between being “a singer who can act” and becoming a confident screen actor with strong foundations to broaden your work opportunities as a performing artist.

If you’re wanting to move into screen acting with greater confidence, range, and skill, this course is for you.

Here, you’ll build the practical acting foundations needed to approach auditions, self-tapes, and on-set performance with greater confidence, capability, and creative freedom.

About Caz

Hi, I’m Caz - founder of the StretchiFlex and all ‘round fun human.

Prior to working professionally in film and production for the past seven years as a Producer and Director, I trained in screen acting, worked in screen acting, and later moved into acting coaching at a local theatre company, where I spent over a decade helping performers grow in confidence, flexibility to direction, and truthfulness in performance.

Throughout my career on both sides of the camera, I’ve worked with many talented performers who want to step into screen acting - people who may already have stage experience, musicality, movement training, or professionalism on set, but haven’t yet developed the foundations of screen acting.

That’s why this course was created.

You’ll Leave the Course With:

  • A 2-3 minute showreel of your best work from the weekly filming.

  • 3 Professional Acting Headshots from a 45 minute headshot session with Tide Productions

  • Practical screen acting experience

  • Greater confidence in auditions and self-tapes

  • Professional experience working with a director/producer

  • Connections with other emerging performers and creatives
