Screen Acting Foundations for the Performing Artist
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
By joining the waitlist, enrolling in, or participating in Screen Acting Foundations for the Performing Artist through the StretchiFlex, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1 | Enrolment and Acceptance
Enrolment into the course is confirmed only once payment (or an agreed payment plan) has been completed and written confirmation has been provided by the StretchiFlex.
Places are limited and enrolments are reviewed by Carolyn to ensure participants are a suitable fit for the course structure, experience level, and the supportive, collaborative environment being created within the group.
Joining the waitlist or expression of interest form does not guarantee a place within the course.
2 | Course Fees and Payment
Course fees must be paid in full prior to commencement unless an approved payment plan arrangement has been made.
Payment plans must be completed according to the agreed schedule.
Failure to complete payments may result in loss of enrolment or access to course materials.
3 | Refund and Cancellation Policy
As places are limited and course preparation occurs in advance, refunds are not available once enrolment has been confirmed.
If a participant chooses to withdraw after enrolment, refunds or credits cannot be provided.
If the StretchiFlex is required to cancel a course or intake, participants will be offered either:
a full refund, or
a transfer into a future intake where applicable.
4 | Attendance and Missed Classes
Life happens, and we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise.
If you are unable to attend a class, please notify us prior to the session where possible.
Participants will continue receiving any relevant scripts, technique materials, or class information to support ongoing progression through the course.
Due to the nature of small-group training, refunds, credits, or make-up classes are not available for missed sessions.
Missing an occasional class should not impact your overall progression through the course.
5 | Participant Conduct
Screen Acting Foundations has been designed as a welcoming, supportive, and respectful environment.
Participants agree to:
treat facilitators and fellow participants respectfully
create a safe environment for creative exploration
respect personal boundaries and experiences
avoid behaviour that may negatively affect the learning environment
the StretchiFlex reserves the right to remove participants engaging in unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behaviour without refund.
6 | Filming and Media
the StretchiFlex may use photographs, behind-the-scenes content, testimonials, and course footage for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes across its platforms and materials.
We understand that performers may have personal, professional, or creative reasons for not wanting certain content shared publicly. Participants are always welcome to let us know if they would prefer not to have their image, footage, or content used, and we will happily respect those wishes.
Participants may also request that specific images, footage, or content from any particular class or week not be made public.
7 | Headshots and Showreel Materials
Where included within a course package, headshots and filmed materials are intended for personal portfolio, showreel, audition, and professional use.
Specific inclusions, editing timelines, and delivery expectations will be communicated separately where relevant. In most cases, media materials will be delivered within approximately 7 business days; however, turnaround times may occasionally be extended depending on participant numbers, editing requirements, and course scheduling.
Included media packages are not redeemable for cash, transfers, or substitutions.
8 | Health and Wellbeing
Participants are responsible for informing facilitators of any injuries, physical limitations, accessibility requirements, or concerns relevant to movement sessions.
Movement sessions are designed to support performers in a safe and inclusive environment; however, participation remains voluntary and at the participant's own discretion.
Participants are encouraged to work within their own comfort and capability levels.
9 | Course Content and Intellectual Property
Course materials, handouts, workshop structures, and training content provided by the StretchiFlex remain the intellectual property of the StretchiFlex unless otherwise stated.
Course materials are for personal educational use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or taught externally without written permission.
